And So It Continues

This week was a busy one. And so will this next one.
On top of my normal classwork, I took two midterms and helped host a movie/album release party. I was selected by for KING & COUNTRY to be a student ambassador for their new album burn the ships. So, I, along with the three other students selected from Sterling, put together and hosted and a midnight release party that included the showing of the film Priceless. It was fun. Tiring but fun. We got all finished up around 1am. I had the first of my two midterms at 8am, and the second one was over HTML5 and CSS3 coding. Oof... I also went to see Venom in a theater before the college's theatre production of Big Fish.
In terms of this lab I am currently writing this blog for, my week was meh. As previously mentioned, I have been having difficulty with this lab in nearly every aspect, ones that make it more of a class than a lab. In an attempt to better understand the reasoning behind it, I am only left with more questions and frustration than before and less motivation to move forward.
But I move forward anyway.
At least, I'm supposed to.
This week was full of exciting topics to cover for the week, many of which I really wanted to cover. They were, however, met with unrealistic deadlines that warned me not to go near. There were topics like the college's musical, homecoming events, the publication of a professor's book, an art exhibition, lots of interesting stuff that I was genuinely interested in covering. Most of them, however, were either due before the event began or shortly after it was scheduled to conclude, leaving too little time for one to gather adequate information and too much stress once one would sit down to write it all out.
So, I decided to cover the scavenger hunt that went on. It was due towards the end of the week, which gave me enough time to get and idea as to what I wanted it to be while getting (some) sleep. I was disappointed by the fact that there was a lot more information surrounding my topic than there was specific to it. So was my editor. I just decided to be done with it and let it go.
It is what it is and it can be found here.
