Well, I survived my lab and you survived reading about it.

Naturally, the final reflection for the lab is a reflection regarding the lab as a whole instead of a week-by-week type of thing. So, here it is. Enjoy, or at least try to.

My experience was mixed.

...

Oh? You want more?

Oof...

Well, as you may remember, I took this lab semester with a different professor. I actually enjoyed last semester's lab in a weird way. Granted, I did write more editorial content last semester than this semester (which is none, by the way), but it wasn't as stressful to complete the normal assignments. That's the biggest issue I have this semester. But you already know that..

Oh, well. It's over. I survived. I won't choose to do it again unless things are different or I can have a role that fits my talents better.

Taking the lab was good experience in that I now know that it is not for me. When I write, I revise and revise. When I write, I want what I have to say to have meaning. If I don't have time to think and develop my thoughts to incorporate them into my writing, I feel like it is without meaning.

You might be surprised that I actually enjoyed some elements of the lab. First, I knew everybody in the lab. It was a good group to share ideas and stuff. Also, it was a good experience working with Jesse last week. He's pretty cool and I'm glad it was him who I collaborated with. Lastly, I like taking photos of events. Sometimes, I'd like to be able to participate in the event, but it's also nice to capture other people's experiences.

All in all, I really got my money's worth for this singular lab credit. Time to sleep.

Also, if I'm going to be good at reporting the news, I need to be better at keeping up to date with it. I'm so excited for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse (2018) and I can't believe I missed the tracklist drop for the soundtrack six hours ago. It was during my King of the Hill presentation for my Web Design class final (which was fun by the way), but oh well.

Life's life.
